We have been an in-house fabricator of awning and custom signs since 1925, and we can help make your homefront and storefront dreams a reality! We’re a one-stop shop that can create, install, and service our signs, awnings, and canopies for many years.

When it comes to your business, we want to provide you with tools that can bring you even more success. Advertising with a custom awning and/or sign is one way to increase business. When potential customers visit your store for the first time, your storefront is the first impression. We love a good first impression, so we want to make sure your signs and awnings always look great. Keeping your awning clean helps to maintain the beauty and quality of your awning, which means you’ll get more bang for your buck.

Cleaning your awning regularly is so important. How you clean your awning depends on whether you have a canvas or a metal awning.

For canvas awnings, it’s especially important to clean these on a regular basis. They can easily show dirt, depending on the color. Dirt and grime can also damage the fabric slowly over time. To clean canvas awnings, you first want to clean off any loose debris such as dirt and leaves. You can achieve this with a broom or brush, or even your hands (but make sure to wear protective gloves!). Next, you want to get a bucket of water mixed with a mild soap, such as one you would use for your laundry. Wet the awning with a water hose and then use a stiff brush dipped in your soapy water to scrub away dirt and stains. After you’re done scrubbing your awning, be sure to wash away any leftover soap and dirt with a hose.

When it comes to metal awnings, upkeep is just as important as it is with canvas awnings. You will still need a mild soap and water mixture to clean off your metal awning. But you should also plan to use a pressure washer to clean your metal awning. This will work more effectively than scrubbing it with a brush like you would with a canvas awning. Make sure to rinse off leftover soap when you’re done pressure washing! Soap would possibly stain your beautiful awning.
